Tornadoes in January!

2 confirmed tornadoes touched down in Indiana last night! One in southern Indiana, and one right here in Indianapolis. The kids got really scared at the amount of wind and rain they could hear outside, but it moved through pretty quickly. We tried to explain that the Warning wasn't for our area of the county, and that no matter what happened we would take care of them. It also reminded me that we need to get a tub together with all of our necessities, so that if a tornado does come our way, we will be prepared. The tornado here in Indy touched down about 20 minutes away from where we live. For the story, CLICK HERE!

Now, we are expecting a winter storm late Thursday/early Friday morning. This is supposed to bring anywhere from 3-6" of snow! The kids are excited that they will finally be able to use the sleds they got from Santa!!!

SCARY!!!! That is what makes 120 degree summers bearable. By the way, I LOVE the new background. Happy Valentines Day!
